1) It uses advertises to make money, however platforms only get paid if you watch the long for ad for long enough. AKA sell attention
2) Getting attention is when your ego/pride feels good because you feel heard/seen, while giving attention allows you to observe and learn from others. 3) I think you can be addicted for attention, and being starved for attention. Both of these states can cause poor decision in hopes of seeking more attention. Getting attention makes you feel important/valued, the more you get, the more you need to feel as important. I probably fall around a 7-8, even though I don't use social media(other than youtube). I'm naturally pretty loud and stand out in most classrooms, I also love being in leadership positions. |
